Widely recognized as the leading rental solutions company in India – Electrocraft were entrusted with the responsibility of pulling off a technically flawless event, which they did, thanks to a dedicated team of skilled and experienced professionals who worked tirelessly to deliver world-class quality through an impeccable audio architecture and sublime automation and trussing solution.
To commission the event with the most astute audio delivery possible, team Electrocraft deployed a comprehensive system comprising multiple numbers of the RD208 line array system complemented by multiple numbers of RD column speakers – all from Roger Drego’s signature series of products; multiple numbers of SB28 subwoofers from L’Acoustics provided the chest thumping low frequency impact. The audio for the show was mixed using AVID’s dexterous SC48 console, whereas an exhaustive wireless system of microphones and IEMs was set up using an assortment of products from Shure. Precise positioning of the loudspeakers coupled with the prowess of team Electrocraft helped ensure uniform coverage and pristine audio delivery all through. Plus, owing to the sheer expanse of the venue and the need for team members to be dispersed across, inter-team communication was established using far-reaching Altair Wireless Intercoms.
In addition to a stellar audio experience, team Electrocraft were also responsible for some of the magic that took place on-stage, as they commissioned fine work with the on-stage automation system which played a major role in key performances. A fully automated large-frame travellator was installed on stage, which had individuals moving along while performing their feats, thereby creating a rather amazing sight to behold. The event included a special act where multiple performers were suspended in the air along a custom-made grid which moved upwards and downwards while the performers continued to enthral the crowd. This was made possible by using high-speed motors from MoveCat which allowed the team to program individual motor with different cues. Electrocraft also commissioned state-of-the-art automated hydraulic platforms which emerged from within the stage to play a key role in one of the highlight group dance performances of the evening. These platforms (at an inclined angle) had multiple number of dancers moving upon it, and once the performance culminated, the platforms were automatically retracted into the stage façade. Additionally, the team also deployed the sturdy trussing infrastructure that supported the sound equipment and visual equipment.
Fountainhead Events – the company in charge of producing, directing and commissioning KIYG in Balewadi – were more than pleased with the flawless execution of the event, and gave special credit to team Electrocraft for their effort and contribution in making the event a massive success. A senior member of the Fountaind Events team commented, “KIYG has been path-breaking in every sense of the word, and it is such an honour for us to be a part of something so monumental. We knew with all confidence that Roger and his team at Electrocraft would live up to their legacy and high standards of delivering a technically excellent show; and that’s exactly what they did. We’re glad Electrocraft were on-board for this event, and we’re absolutely stoked with the amazing quality of their work!”
